Constant Tension Center Wind Control by Carotron

Carotron's Constant Tension Center Wind Model D10337-000 (original) by Carotron provides constant tension control or taper tension control with use of a torque mode drive for a center driven winder.  The web tension is regulated by controlling motor torque  through varying levels of material roll diameter, line speed and line acceleration rate. 

It provides constant tension control or taper tension torque based on core tension, taper tension, diameter compensation, friction compensation, inertia compensation and stall tension.  The maximum build range is 10 to 1.  It features an on-board velocity loop for jog speed control using armature voltage feedback that is selectable for 90 or 180 VDC.  To view more features, product specifications, application examples, connections and more, click below:
